This summer, as the reconstruction work on the great organ of Chartres Cathedral continues, we are pleased to present the program of our 52nd Festival and Summer Evenings.
The restoration of the organ case is complete and the reassembly of the great organ is underway. The pipe voicing phase will begin in July. The work will be completed before the end of 2026.
Throughout the four years of this project, the Association des Grandes Orgues de Chartres continues its activity by offering the public a series of concerts showcasing the richness of vocal and instrumental repertoires, with ample room for sacred music works particularly suited to this great place of spirituality and culture.
